Pamela G. Truitt, AICP, the President and founder of Truitt Consulting has a broad base of experience in the planning field, including 20 years of combined employment in the private sector, local government and public institutions such as Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida (USF) holding an Interdisciplinary degree in Geography/Economics. She is member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).

In 2004 Pam was nominated as a USF Distinguished Alumni and in 2006 she was the receipent of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce's Chairman's Cup based to a large extent on her long involvement and support -- both professionally and privately -- of Community and Civic action; ... as Pam would say: “...making a difference!”
In 2009, she was awarded Businesswoman of the Year by the City of Sarasota Mayor.
